I've lost my smile

Here's a scenario. A guy and a girl (let's call 'em Matt and Amy) have been dating for 6 years. They love each other to death. Everyone who knew them thought this was a relationship that would go on forever.

Then comes the best friend of the guy (let's call him Adam). He's a divorcee who just got married again a few months ago. He saw Amy and decided that he liked her. So he flirts with her. And guess what? She flirts back.

You can probably guess what happens next.

So now Matt is heartbroken, while everyone else is cursing Adam for breaking up a happy couple (not to mention cheating on his wife, AGAIN) and Amy for cheating on Matt.

So let me ask you, what do you think of that scenario?

Back to myself now.

I've decided to do a little experiment. You know those goth guys who wear white makeup and black lipstick and cut themselves and who knows what running through their minds? Don't worry, I won't go that far. But I did notice that they are all emotionless, putting a clamp on their feelings. Not happy, not sad, not angry, nothing. Just emptiness. That intrigued me. So, what with my life being as it is, and how emotional I always am, and the pain I've felt being angry and sad which happens too often nowadays, I've decided to try it for a while. So if you see me outside in the Real World and all I give you is at least a small smile that lasts for a second, that's just me trying to let go of my emotions. I'll tell you how this experiment goes later.

Be seeing you,
Fiz
